Anticipation

These last few years traveling for Paraklesis to meet and work with the men and women that we pray for on a daily basis have been amazing. I am inspired, emboldened and humbled every time I go. The people I’ve met, the incredible moves of God that I’ve seen, and their dedication to God are all things that are indelibly etched in my memory. I fall in love with every country, pastor and family I meet and it makes me want to go back to ALL the countries I’ve visited every year. But God (and my wife LOL) have limited me to two trips a year, otherwise I’d be gone all the time and I still have a to business run.

As I prepare for this year’s adventures, I am extremely excited because I’ll be meeting three more pastors for the first time. This is in addition, of course, to the wonderful pastors and families I already know and love. It’s an awesome thing when you realize that in the Body of Christ, there are no borders. There is no separation or distinction between countries or people. We all have “family” everywhere we go. As much as the people and cultures are different, their love of God and worship of Him is remarkably similar. The style may be different. They may not have a big worship band, they may only have a drum (or nothing at all) to usher them into the Presence but when the Holy Spirit falls, people’s hearts are touched and lives are changed. His presence is the same ALL over the world. I can’t wait to go be a part of their ministries for a short time, see what God is doing in their part of the world, love on them and support them in do their part in fulfilling the Great Commission.

Please help us by being in prayer as I go to India from August 25th to September 11th and as brother Kevin Schwartz and I go to Nepal from October 24th to November 7th. Please consider becoming a part of these trips by giving to cover the traveling expenses. Be a part of spreading the Gospel and fulfilling the Great Commision.

  1. Thank you June. We need as many prayer warriors as we can get. If you’re willing, there is a section on the website to sign up as a prayer warrior. We will send you updates and specific requests from the ministers so you can pray for them. There is much power in prayer. Thanks again.
